Alexandra L. Mussler (Alley) is an Associate at Brady, Fischel & Daily where her civil litigation practice focuses on real estate disputes, commercial litigation, contract disputes, premises liability, insurance litigation, and the defense and representation of health care institutions and providers in medical malpractice claims.
Before joining Brady, Fischel & Daily, Alley was an associate at a civil litigation firm in Rockville where she handled a wide range of matters, including personal injury claims, business and commercial litigation, construction litigation, eminent domain and condemnation, adult guardianships, disputes involving estates and trusts, and a variety of issues involving real property. She has handled cases in the District and Circuit Courts throughout the State of Maryland and has an active motions practice.
Prior to entering private practice, Alley began her legal career as the Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable James A. Bonifant, Associate Judge in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. She then continued as his clerk following his selection as the Administrative Judge for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. While in law school, she served as Judge Bonifant’s judicial intern and as a legal intern for a Rockville criminal defense firm.
Alley obtained her undergraduate degree in economics with a minor in philosophy from Flagler College, and received her Juris Doctor degree from The American University, Washington College of Law, where she was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship for all three years. As a student attorney in the school’s exclusive Federal Income Tax Clinic, she successfully represented clients before the U.S. Tax Court who were being audited by the Internal Revenue Service. Alley was also an active member of the Business Law Society and served as a certified volunteer with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.
She is a proud native of Annapolis, Maryland.
